Greens still dropping in Prophecies or Factions?
I've been trying for some for my heroes (I have 4 sets to outfit yikes!) and after many many trips to the desired areas, nothing is dropping.
To save on wasted replies, I know to go in small groups (3 or less if possible) etc. I could go after Ssaki in my sleep and get swords etc before. Since nightfall nothing is dropping for me. Am I just cursed or have they nerfed the drops to promote the purchasing of NF?

It's possible, but I think it's more likely that you're just having a bad bit of luck.
I know this is obvious, but you've made sure not to engage the anti-farming code, right? Sometimes things drop like nobody's business, sometimes you can't buy a break. I was messing with the Gypsie Ettins with a friend of mine; a couple blues and a purple longsword were all that dropped. 30 seconds after I log off, a superior Beast Mastery.
I wouldn't assume the worst just yet.

re
I have thought the same , maybe im just paranoid, but it seems to me that drops in general are poor in both Prophecies and Factions at the moment, i wouldnt be surprised though...

Are you going with Henchmen/Heroes or not? I'm still solo farming factions and getting drops 60-70% of the time, which is normal.
Oh, and farming Sorrow's Furnace over 2 days got me 15+ greens (near 100% droprate). So no, I really don't think they nerfed certain chapters.

Yeah, I think the OP just got bad luck. And I hope you didn't trigger anti farming code.

I do fine in NF. I got a few high end sheilds without trying (one green) this weekend. Oh well good to know, I'd rather it was just my bad luck and not find out GW was that sneaky to degrade drops in the other campaigns to help sell nf. lol

Nar, they haven't. Going outside Deldrimore will get me a green 95% of the time. Even though now I don't really want them.

yea I'd go with the reduced drop rate. I used to occasionally go to SF and Morostov Trail and get the occasional green. I havent farmed for greens in awhile and figured I'd hit the beat again. I've tried SF, Morostov Trail, and Draznachs Thicket over and over...and over. Not a single green drop. Pathetic way to usher in a new edition IMO. Dedicated farmers in my alliance have also mentioned this fact of less drops since Nightfall.

well greens that are over-farmed are less likely to drop

Well i wanted one of those -5energy fans that drop in The Falls, ive had a few in the past and sold them all, but i went down on my own and killed hundreds of those wind riders, got nothing more than normal drops, not a single fan, i think they dropped the green drop rate in everywhere other than NF.

No problems here with green drops in both prophecies and factions. Droprate pretty much seems the same, I've even had more greens in these 2 after the release NF than before.

It seems that it is very different for everyone on the drops of greens in Proph/Factions!
I wonder what is causing some people to feel they are getting more and some less?

I'm still getting greens, in Prophecies at least. I did a couple of SF runs with PuGs the last few days and got The Brimstone, The Shadestone, Villnar's Glove and Korvald's Cane. Nothing overly exciting, but green.

I regularly get greens even though my acct has been slapped with the anti farming message a few times. Just my necro and 2 hero's netted 6 greens in 2 days farming in the Arborstone area that has the stonereaper.
I also solo sskai with my necro. Last week it took an unusually long 20 tries to get the sword so I thought to myself their might be a reduced drop rate. The very next day I went back to sskai and got the sword on the first kill.
It's really all about luck and a law of averages I think.

Out of curiosity, by 4 sets you mean.... heroes for 4 different characters?
If so, you might want to consider *sharing*. You can only play one character per account at the time, so who cares what Koss has on a different character? Plus it will save you space, the so much needed space.
I tend to use the same 4-5 heroes (of course not at the same time), so when I'm done, I put their weapons in storage, so they are available for use next time I log on, no matter who I decide to play.
Now I have two accounts, so I need 2 sets of everything.
Do you have 4 accounts??

Wrong actually. Drop-rates are completely random.
I recently farmed Wing Three Blade for his axe. All I did was kill him 3 times one night, then when to sleep, then tried again when I woke up, and the first thing I got was his axe.
So quite simply, if you continue farming the same boss in excess of 3 times in a row, the farm code begins to kick in. Best plan if you just want a green is to kill them three times, then wait about 12 hours and try again.

where's the fun in that? Laziness demands I get a new set for every character, though I'm happy with basic collectors stuff.
Also, I think you need a certain amount of luck for green items, they hardly ever drop for me... that's both farming and playing normally.
